Meet Kathleen
Craniosacral, Cupping, Deep Tissue, Relaxing Deep Tissue
Kathleen began her massage career in Bend, Oregon back in 1999. Acquiring her fundamentals, deep tissue training and obtaining her National massage license she moved to eastern Idaho for backcountry snowboarding among the mighty Teton mountain range. While managing the Grand Targhee Resort Spa, she joined the 2002 Winter Olympics Sports Massage Team in Utah. Inspired by the international interactions her wanderlust led her to the Northern California coast where the Redwood forests meet the Pacific ocean. Surfing and yoga became a new passion while living and working behind the Redwood curtain. Kathleen enjoyed working at a quaint destination spa and a chiropractic office. She continued her quest for knowledge by learning myofascial, cupping, Thai, craniosacral, hot stone and Himalayan stone. On a visit with Bend friends, Kathleen made the choice to move back to Oregon and pursue an Associates of Applied Science degree at Central Oregon Community College. She attained that goal in 2019. She enjoys taking strolls with her elder dog along the Deschutes river and Cascade lakes. Her life experiences have taught her that every day is not the same. Every body is unique. Her goal is to provide a safe and comfortable space in every session that allows therapeutic relaxation.

When she’s not doing bodywork, Vivi enjoys community singing, dancing whenever possible, baking sourdough bread, trying new recipes, starting new crafts, and basking in the sunlight after cold water river plunges.
Meet Stephanie
Deep Tissue, Hot Stones, Cupping, Thai Table, Reflexology
Stephanie brings a vast experience with her into the treatment room. Her speciality is the
combination of deep pressure, hot stones, cupping and thai table massage. But, her clients would
tell you that she has this innate way of finding your problem areas, that you weren’t even aware
existed. Stephanie describes this as an intuitive massage. She just lets her “fingers do the
walking”. But, that’s not to say that her massages are “fluff”. She uses her knowledge from
working in medical environments and combines it with her experience in the Spa environment to
create the session that both addresses your body concerns and leaves you feeling oh so relaxed.
She will make a point to inform you that “pain is not the game” and we are looking for the sweet
spot of “oh that hurts, so good”. Once we find that place and work together through breath work
and pressure, the session takes on its true balance of therapeutic touch and relaxation.
Beyond bodywork, Stephanie is a yoga teacher, a sales manager for 707Flora Skincare and an
Ayurvedic health and life coach. She has spent the last 12 years diving deeper into Ayurveda
through yoga, meditation, panchakarma therapies, and her health and life coach certification. It
amazes her to be able to look into the body through the face, tongue, and pulse assessment and
have it give you an inside view of how the body is functioning. Which brings her back to her
yoga teacher training and favorite quote...
“Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. When one is free from
physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open.” ~ B.K.S. Iyengar

Meet Lauren

Lauren’s endless curiosity and fascination with profound bodywork began in 2014 with the education she received at East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR. Her exceptionally skilled and passionate teachers gave her an appreciation for how a science driven western perspective of bodywork beautifully overlaps with a holistic and intuitive eastern perspective. She blends her training in Structural Bodywork, Tui Na, PNF techniques, Cranio-Sacral, and the basics of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage to give each person a session customized to their needs. She strives to recognize each person’s unique and dynamic pattern and then offers a balancing influence that feels both profound and gentle. Her style has been described as rhythmic, integrative, intuitive, and effective. When she’s not geeking out about bodywork you can find Lauren loving life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She enjoys a board of any kind whether it be snow, paddle or longboard and she’s a lifelong volleyball player and coach. Lauren loves to hike and camp in the mountains or jump in the ocean on the occasional beach day. She appreciates a rainy day with a cozy chair, good coffee and an exciting book. A comforting meal with good conversation is also a favorite especially after a cold winter hike and hot spring soak. Lauren knows how truly blessed and humbled she is to be living in such a beautiful place and to have found such a peaceful and meaningful profession.
Meet Amanda
Deep Tissue, Craniosacral, Lymphatic
Amanda has been practicing massage for over 25 years. Originally from the East Coast she made her way to Colorado where she graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado. Shortly after graduating she moved to Oahu and enjoyed working at many high end luxury spas. She now spends her time in Sisters with her husband and doggo.
She is trained in many modalities including Lomi Lomi, Thai, Deep Tissue, Myofascial release, Craniosacral , Lymphatic Drainage and is able to call in different techniques throughout each session. Her intention is to calm the nervous system and make space for the body to truly heal.
The main focus is bodywork that facilitates the body’s natural detox pathways. A Lymphatic detox massage focuses on the lymphatic system and involves a light to medium rhythmic pressure. Working in the subcutaneous tissue, the body is able to clear metabolic waste and facilitates a gentle detox. The results are increased elimination, a decrease in the appearance of cellulite, increased immunity, reduced swelling and puffiness, deep relaxation, and a more regulated nervous system.

Creating a safe, relaxing atmosphere for bodywork is extremely important. No matter what troubles, hardships, or worries you come in with, her goal is that you leave feeling deeply relaxed. Stress not only takes hold of your mind, but instills itself within your body as well, holing up inside your muscles. Meet Ashley
Ayurveda Headspa, Facials
Ashley’s journey into esthetics started many years ago when she realized her love for aesthetic quality was more than a painting or the ballet. She could manipulate her hair or clothing to reflect how she felt that day. This flowed into skincare and body waxing as an adult, which is ultimately why she got her esthetics license in Oregon in 2018. Ashley is able to help a client transform their appearance and state of mind in a matter of minutes. Her loving spirit comes through her treatments and she has an ability to help people feel comfortable in their own skin during moments of vulnerability. This, coupled with the commitment to come from a place of non-judgment, is what makes Ashley unique and welcoming.
Ashley moved from NW Montana to Bend in 2012. After receiving her esthetics license and practicing skincare, she is discovering her true love for the healing arts. In conjunction with studying psychology at OSU, Ashley is realizing her passion in helping others feel relaxed and find well-being by performing specialty scalp treatments at Earth Body Massage. Through a healing touch, she is able to help clients unwind and find a calmed state of mind.
When Ashley is not treating clients you will find her spending time with her three kiddos, hiking, paddle boarding, skiing, dancing, and enjoying everything Central Oregon has to offer.
Meet Katie E.
Hi, my name is Katie. I'm the owner of Earth Body Massage.
I was lucky to grow up here in beautiful Bend, Oregon. Roaming around the desert brush with my 4 siblings is a favorite past time of mine. I have always been a healer at heart since I was little, this evolved into my love for massage therapy. After graduating from Mountain View High School I was ready to explore other parts of the world and gain an education. I headed to Massage Therapy School in Costa Rica the summer of 2006. Studying a modality I am passionate about in a setting like the coast line of Costa Rica was a dream come true. When I returned I started my massage career at Festivals, Spa's and Chiropractic clinics. Earth Body was established in 2008 as a solo practice and has grown ever since. Skincare has always been a passion of mine, so in 2016 I went back to school to get my Esthetics License and Advanced Medical Aesthetics License. I was immediatley drawn to tattoo removal and opened Fade Out Tattoo Removal in 2016.
While I have stepped back from the physical work of massage, you can find me behind the scenes or stepping in here or there. Thank you for supporting Earth Body. We have a fantastic team of skilled, wonderful massage therapists.
