About Earth Body Massage in Bend, Oregon
Hello! My name is Katie Elston, I'm the owner and LMT/Esthetician at Earth Body Massage. From a young age, I felt compelled to become a healer and body worker, and massage called me to it as the vehicle. After graduating from Mountain View High School in Bend, Oregon, I had an intense desire to explore this beautiful world and become licensed as a massage therapist. What I found was the Costa Rica School of Massage. At the age of 17, I applied, and although they were hesitant to take someone so young, my passion was clear and they accepted me! For the better part of a year I worked strengthening my hands and honing my skills, learning techniques such as Guasha, Cupping, and Deep Tissue Massage. That has been some time ago now, but since then, massage has taken me to places I never imagined! Music festivals, hot springs, and Bend's own Pole Peddle Paddle, are just a few.
In 2008 I began working at a local chiropractor's office. I worked with many serious accident related injuries that expanded my knowledge of our muscular and skeletal systems. I started Earth Body Massage in 2011 and it was then I began working with Dr. Hester at Bend Family Dentistry studying treatment for Temporal Mandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD). Ready to learn more, I went to Thailand and studied Thai massage from the Masters! While there, I had more of an adventure than I had planned on! But, the Universe provides and I was able to expand my mind and practice even more.
Always hungry for new ways to heal and help, I recently went back to school and got my Esthetics and Advances Aesthetician License. I now offer facials, micro-needling, and medium depth peels. I am passionate about skin care and it has been so fun to implement my new skills into my massage practice. Add a Mini Facial to your next massage appointment!I also opened Fade Out Laser Tattoo Removal, located inside Monolith Tattoo Studio.Being able to help others who may have a tattoo that is holding them back from something, or doesn't suit them any more, is so fun and has ignited a new passion for me.

After growing up on the Oregon Coast, Olivia moved to Portland to work towards her massage degree. She attended both the Dee La Von School of Massage and the Oregon School of Massage. She has been practicing massage therapy for over 10 years. Because of her passion for helping people reduce pain, regain mobility, and balance; it led her to Acupuncture! Olivia graduated from the Oregon School of Oriental Medicine in November of 2020 and is working towards her licensure. The curriculum gave her so many new techniques for assessing a client’s chief complaint, and so many more skills to help provide relief! She is always applying what she learned in Acupuncture school to her massage practice and hope this new knowledge will benefit you!
Olivia offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Prenatal, Cupping and Guasha Therapies. She recently completed training in Zen Shiatsu, a Japanese Acupressure technique that works with the body’s meridians to encourage the free flow of Qi and to help bring the body’s energy systems back to harmony. She loves being in Bend and looks forward to exploring all it has to offer.

The healing power of touch is undeniable. As someone who received massage therapy during a difficult period of transition and injury, Katrina was motivated by the prospect of being in the same capacity to help others with their healing journeys. This is a second career for her, after working first as a classroom teacher and then as an academic advisor to student athletes at Oregon State University.
She has always identified herself as a helper, a nurturer, a facilitator, and an advocate. It is Katrina’s nature to connect with people exactly where they are. Her style of massage integrates a variety of modalities and techniques. Depending on the client’s needs and goals for treatment, she uses a combination of Swedish and therapeutic techniques (“Sports Massage”), along with elements from Thai and Shiatsu traditions. Katrina has also recently received intensive training in the application of Cupping Therapy. She is here to design and implement bodywork sessions based on clients’ goals and needs.
Katrina has lived in Bend since 2018, after almost 20 years of life on the other side of the Cascades (in Corvallis). Prior to that, I was in rural southeast Ohio. She also enjoys hiking, yoga, salsa dancing, and live music.
